Hello World!

This is my first Weg. Well, I do have a number of secret wegs, where I rant and talk about things that gentlemen who wish to be respected shouldn't speak of in public, but this is the first time I'll shed the comforting human-skin-snuggie of anonymity.

The motivation behind this, my first weg, a full twenty years after the first weg was wegged, is three-headed. Primarily, I love attention. Aside from that, I've been getting literally tens of comments on my more personal and offensive posts to Facepage. Sometimes, I have more to say than a status update. Rarely, is the rest of it as interesting as the first bit, but you're bored and/or avoiding your responsibilities.

With all the options out there, why did I choose to create my very first weg using Posterous? In a word, Magic. I'm familiar with Wordpress, and it is fairly convenient and offers some great tools, but I don't need all that. I had decided on Tumblr until I had a chat with this guy http://alexbogusky.posterous.com/ who seemed like a stand-up fella; also, he seemed to know more about wegging than I do. Once I saw that Posterous is the only wegging option that appears to run on magic, I was sold. Sold a product completely free of monetary sacrifice or time commitment, but sold none the less.

Also, I love that Posterous has three steps, but the first step is crossed out. That's great.

So what the hell? What am I going to say here? Specifically, this is going to be a relatively professional place. That's not to say it's going to be a clean place; if you've been to Quack!Media HQ you've seen the (month-old) PBR cans. It will, however, carry a general theme of music, print, marketing, advertising, television... you know, media. This will be a great place to keep track of what we're doing, or to find out if I'm going to make fun of something you sent me. I'll (probably) keep your name out of it.
